Event mode
Match with attendees, get a "For You" feed, and book meetings at events.
When a community runs an event — a conference, summit, or meetup — JOGL Network turns on event mode: an AI-curated networking experience scoped to that event's attendees.
The three tabs
An event's networking page has three tabs:
- Matches ("For You") — AI-curated suggestions of attendees worth meeting, based on your profile and interests. You can also run a search scoped to the event's participants.
- Participants — the full attendee directory you can browse.
- Meetings — your incoming requests, confirmed meetings, and outgoing requests.
Requesting a meeting
From a match or a participant, you can request a meeting. Meetings are booked into the event's networking time slots. When you send a request you pick an available slot and a location type.
On the other side, incoming requests show up in your Meetings tab where you can Accept or Decline. Confirmed meetings show the time, the location, and AI-generated icebreakers to help you start the conversation.
Networking actions (requesting and accepting meetings) are available while the event's networking window is open. Before and after that window, the event may be in a preparation or archived state.
Opting in
Booking is opt-in per event — you choose to make yourself available for meeting requests. Once you opt in, other attendees can request time with you.
