What JOGL Network does
- Expert discovery — semantic search across member profiles, publications, and professional backgrounds.
- Profile enrichment — an automated pipeline that builds rich profiles from LinkedIn, OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, and web research.
- Community analytics — dashboards showing expertise distribution, collaboration patterns, and member activity.
- Event networking — AI-curated attendee matching, a "For You" feed, and meeting requests at conferences and industry events.
- Deep Search — a two-turn interactive search that proposes a plan and can compose teams.
- Direct messaging — real-time member-to-member DMs with reactions, read receipts, and AI-suggested replies.
- Private notes — private, user-scoped relationship notes on other members.
The production app lives at my.jogl.network. Screens and labels in these docs are described from the shipping product; where a detail could not be verified from the codebase, it is marked with a TODO so it can be confirmed before publishing.
